Superstone La Cloche Brick Oven

This SuperstoneŽ La Cloche Brick Oven is inspired by the ancient Athenians dating back to 500 B.C. The Athenians placed the dome over breads and other foods to be baked and surrounded the portable oven with hot embers to create an even heat. The heat supplied by the SuperstoneŽ La Cloche Bread baker works the same way. It utilizes the steam generated by the moist dough within the bell, resulting in a delicious bread with a crackly, golden crust and light crumb. Roasts, chickens, and fish bake as the flavor of the natural juices circulate within the dome, thus preserving moisture and reducing shrinkage. Measures 11" D x 2"H.
